Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Long Beach

It’s one of the most popular celebrations of the entire year– St. Patrick’s day! On Sunday, March 17, everyone is “Irish.” Lucky for us there are plenty of spots to celebrate all around Long Beach. Here are some of our favorites.

St. Pat’s Eve Pub Stroll on the Queen Mary

Saturday, March 16, 7:00 PM-Midnight

Start celebrating a day early at the Queen Mary! The ship is transforming its historic suites and salons into Irish Pubs that will have you transported to the Emerald Isle. The different rooms will be overflowing with Irish cheer, beer and refreshments, traditional Irish dishes, live music, and entertainment. Bands including The Poxy Boggards and Sportive Tricks and the Merry Wives of Windsor will be playing, and you’ll have access to stroll the whole ship with your ticket. Of course, wearing green is highly encouraged, too!

The Auld Dubliner

Saturday, March 16, 5:00 PM

It’s always a fun time celebrating St. Patty’s at the Auld Dubliner, and this year they are celebrating the Irish St. Patrick’s day as it turns midnight in Ireland, which will be Saturday, March 16 for us here in the United States. Specials include $1 Guinness pints from 4 – 5:00 PM, along with passed appetizers and finger foods. Take home some fun swag you can put to good use on Sunday and a free acrylic Guinness pint glass (first come first serve). Denis Murray will be playing live music from 4 – 7:00 PM and you definitely don’t want to miss that. It’s going to be quite the celebration!
