The farewell to summer and gateway to fall has arrived, with Labor Day coming up this weekend. Los Angeles and Long Beach are loaded with activities that are fun for kids and adults alike, giving us all a chance to salute the long weekend. Music events make up the bulk of what we highlight here, but don’t forget to check local attractions like the Aquarium of the Pacific for extended discounted hours on Sunday, or visit the annual Long Beach Greek Festival for food and culture. If you’re feeling brave, the weather temperatures this weekend will be great (with some occasional clouds), and the beaches will be busy but beautiful.
