Attend the Downtown Long Beach New Year’s Eve Block Party – Celebrate the New Year in the heart of Downtown on Pine Avenue. Bands will be performing over three-stages in a span of three-blocks. Pre-sale tickets are available for $40 online. For more info., visit

Walk and stargaze – Go for an outdoor adventure with some friends. Watch the entire city lit with city lights and fireworks, and the sky lit by stars. Pick a spot along Bluff Park in Long Beach for a close-up view of the action, or perhaps Hilltop Park in Signal Hill for a birds-eye view.

Volunteer – Start the year with a good deed. Seek out charities in your area and offer your help.
