El Dorado Park South

The El Dorado South neighborhood of Long Beach is a solely residential area, aptly named for its location just south of El Dorado Park. Its borders are Stearns on the north, Atherton on the south, Studebaker on the west, and the San Gabriel River on the east. The neighborhood of Los Altos is to the west and El Dorado Park lies to the north. Homes in part of the areaalong Studebaker and Lees were originally modest 2- and 3-bedroom homes, though some have been added on since they were built. Other homes in the area were built as 4 bedroom homes. The architecture in this area is traditional, with many ranch style homes. This area has beautiful tree-lined streets and is known for its family oriented atmosphere.
