Bixby Terrace is a small section within the overall “Bixby Knolls” area of Long Beach. It is located between Orange Ave. on the west, Cherry Ave. on the east, Bixby Road on the south, and Carson on the north. The neighborhood of California Heights and the Virginia Country Club are also nearby. The style of homes in this area does not have a wide variety, mostly due to the area’s small size. The majority of residences here are ranch style. Most of these homes were built between the 1920s and 1940s. This small neighborhood is home to Somerset Park, and is conveniently located near the 405 and 710 freeways.
