Situated on a huge lot in a prime neighborhood, 4418 Pepperwood is a beautiful traditional home with plenty of room both inside and out. The home is 3,020 square feet and features an extremely efficient layout. Just off the formal entryway is a large living room with vaulted ceilings, a wood- and gas-burning corner fireplace, enough room for multiple seating areas, and French doors that connect to the park-like backyard.
The formal entrance also leads to a gracious dining room that flows seamlessly into the kitchen which is a chef’s dream with fresh white cabinets and warm taupe granite countertops. The kitchen features dual islands, one that’s perfect for entertaining and the other which provides extra storage and prep space. This is a kitchen that is truly the heart of the home. In addition to the high-end appliances and abundant cabinets, you’ll appreciate the walk-in pantry with ample shelving for food and other supplies. At the rear of the home is an inviting den or family room, which has a brick fireplace and plenty of built-in storage, making it ideal for entertaining. Like the living room, it has large doors providing access to the backyard and creating a pleasant, light-filled space.
The two downstairs bedrooms are located off the living room with a full bathroom between the two. The master bedroom has two floor-to-ceiling, built-in closets with cupboards above them. It also has sliding glass doors leading to an outdoor seating area with planters and a view of the pool. The other downstairs bedroom has large windows and ample closet space. A third bedroom upstairs is very spacious with a quaint built-in vanity and an en suite bathroom with a charming vintage flair. A chair lift provides easy access to the second level. There’s also a downstairs powder room and a large laundry room with built-in storage and a door leading to the backyard. This home offers abundant storage everywhere you turn, dual pane energy-efficient windows, and thoughtful updates and upgrades throughout.
Although the home itself is fabulous, one of the best features is the backyard. The 15,395 sq. ft. lot allows for a full-size pool and a patio area that’s completely fenced, as well as ample lawn space with mature landscaping, including fruit-bearing plum and lemon trees. There’s also additional patio areas, raised bed gardens, a planting area, a storage shed, and a large concrete area that could be used for off-street parking or a sports court. The entrance to the two-car garage faces the interior of the backyard, a great feature for added security, and a long driveway with gated access provides additional parking as well.
This home truly has so much to offer. It has great flow and is a lovely venue for hosting guests and entertaining. As one of only a few double lots in Lakewood Village, this is a rare opportunity. Plus, the location puts you in a friendly neighborhood that’s convenient to schools, parks, and shopping.

Lakewood Village
The Lakewood Village neighborhood is also known as “The Village” and sits just north of Carson Street. Surrounded on three sides (north, west, and east) by the city of Lakewood and by Carson Street on the south, it is part of Long Beach and is one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods. The Lakewood Village neighborhood is known for its estate sized lots, starting at about 7,000 square feet, as well as its custom homes. You’ll find everything from quaint cottages to elaborate mansions. Many of the older homes date from the 1930s and 1940s and there are recent remodels and rebuilds as well, with architectural styles including English Tudor, Cape Cod, Mediterranean, French Country, Contemporary and more. At the southeast and southwest corners of Lakewood Village are two quaint shopping areas, Viking Way and Norse Way, which feature shops and restaurants. The neighborhood is served by highly rated Mark Twain Elementary School and Bancroft Middle School and the area high school is Lakewood High School. Located on the southern edge of the Village is Long Beach City College’s Liberal Arts Campus.
