Country Club Manor

Country Club Manor is a very small neighborhood of tract of homes within the larger area of Bixby Knolls. It is bordered by Long Beach Blvd. to the west, Atlantic Ave. to the east, San Antonio Drive to the south, and a line that sort of follows Arbor Street to the north. It is in between the neighborhoods of Bixby North and the Virginia Country Club. Homes in this area were built between 1944 and 1945, and originally started as modest 2- and 3-bedroom residences, though many have gone through various remodels and additions since then. The winding streets create larger lot sizes for these homes – many within the 6,000-8,000 square foot range. These homes are full of character and charm. Country Club Manor is home to Scherer Park, a 26-acre space which includes a dog park, community center, pond, and tennis and volleyball courts.
