Long Beach Greek Festival
Labor Day Weekend, September 2-4, Noon – 9 pm Each Day
Opa! Experience the flavors and melodies of Greece at Long Beach’s Premiere Greek Food & Music Festival. Admission $5. Festival is held at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 5761 E Colorado St, Long Beach. Free parking and shuttle rides from the VA Hospital general parking lot off N. Bellflower Blvd and Anaheim Rd.
Puptopia Festival
September 9, 10 am – 5 pm
The best dog festival in America! Check out the spectacular shows on the Main Stage, enjoy photo ops at the PAWground, visit the K9 Lounge for drinks and eats for boths dogs and humans. Belmont Shore Car Show
September 10, General Admission 9 am (VIP 5:30 am, Pre-registration 7 am)
This year’s car show will showcase approximately 700 cars with a wide variety of classic cars, custom cars and hot rods. This is one of the largest one-day classic car shows in the west coast. The event draws approximately 50,000 attendees and an assortment of vendors, not counting the amazing restaurants and shops stretching over 14 blocks, closing 2nd Street in the beautiful Belmont Shore of Long Beach, CA.

Coastal Country Jam
September 16 & 17, Noon to 10 pm Each Day
Coastal Country Jam returns for its 5th year to a new bigger and better festival! This unique event will take place in between ocean and city skyline views in the coastal community of Long Beach, in the heart of Southern California. Annual Ranchos Walk

Walk and enjoy the 9.4-mile scenic route that will start at Rancho Los Cerritos and end at Rancho Los Alamitos. At the end-of-walk celebration, we will have food from Battambong BBQ and beer for sale by Beachwood Brewing. Relax and enjoy our shaded lawn after the walk. Once registration is open, we will send a special e-newsletter to all of our subscribers. We look forward to seeing you there! The end-of-walk celebration at Rancho Los Alamitos during Ranchos Walk is supported by the Office of Councilman Daryl Supernaw and Beachwood Brewing.

Japanese Classic Car Show
October 7, 9 am – 3 pm
This is the 18th annual Japanese Classic Car Show in Long Beach, featuring “kyusha”: pre-1995 Japanese classic cars like vintage Toyotas, Nissans and more. Food trucks will be on site! Marina Green, 386 Shoreline Dr., Long Beach.
Long Beach Marathon

Starting with the Aquarium of the Pacific 5K run on Saturday morning, and going through to the Bike Tour and the Full and Half Marathons on Sunday, this has become one of Long Beach’s signature events each year. In addition to the actual races, there’s a virtual run for those unable to attend. If you’re in town, you can check out the Finish Line Festival for food trucks and photos ops, Sunday, October 15, from 8 am to 1 pm at Marina Green, Shoreline Drive at Linden Avenue.
