90807 real estate is hot: The 90807 area of Long Beach includes the tree-lined streets of Bixby Knolls and California Heights along with highly desirable Virginia Country Club and Los Cerritos neighborhoods. Homes in these neighborhoods of 90807 are considered highly desirable. Despite the area’s desirability, average home sales prices in the 90807 area of Long Beach have been somewhat volatile so far in 2015. Sales prices in June were at $630,000 which is down from $763,000 in January. Yet even so, the year-over-year increase between June 2014 and June 2015 was more than $100,000.
Closed home sales in 90807 have increased significantly this year. In June 2015, there were 33 closed sales – 33% higher than last June and 275% higher than in February 2015.
The average percent of original listing price to sales price in the 90807 area has had quite the series of ups and downs over the years. From May to June of this year, the percentage dropped from 98.4% to 97.7%, but overall percentages have gone up since the start of 2015.
