Our Favorite Long Beach Coffee Houses

Long Beach Coffeehouses

Happy International Coffee Day! Here at The Shannon Jones Team, coffee isn’t a once a year celebration, it’s a way of life! Since we’re constantly on the go around Long Beach, we’re lucky that we’ve been able to try a lot of different spots in the area. Here is our shortlist of Long Beach coffee houses we can’t get enough of.

Rose Park Roasters

3044 E. 4th St., LB

Rose Park Roaster’s is a Long Beach coffee favorite!

They offer seasonal lattes and cold brew coffee and house mad soda on tap. They take pride in roasting their own coffee and sourcing the very best coffee from around the world. Plus they have two locations – one on Pine and one on 4th, so you can get their coffee no matter where you live in Long Beach!

Polly’s Gourmet Coffee

4606 E. 2nd St., LB

Polly’s Gourmet Coffee is an old Long beach standby! Owner Mike Sheldrake opened the shop in 1976 and it has since become a local favorite – especially amongst those lucky enough to live within walking distance. His coffee house is simple, but it’s tried and true, having stood the test of time!

Cupa Cupa

455 E. Ocean Blvd., LB

A family-owned and operated modern rustic coffee bar and kitchen. It is located in the historic Landmark building downtown Long Beach. They pride themselves on serving authentic barista-style coffee.

Cupa Cupa’s coffee is not only tasty – it’s a work of art too!

Recreational Coffee

237 Long Beach Blvd., LB

This Long Beach coffee house sources its coffee from all over the world. They even make sure to pay their farmers a fair price that is even above “Fair Trade” standards. According to their fans, they are known for roasting ridiculously delicious coffee, unlike anything you’ve tasted.

Viento Y Agua

4007 E. 4th St., LB

Viento y Agua has amazing skeleton decorations all over their store.

Viento y Agua is one of our favorite local Long Beach coffee houses! Although you can’t sit in there now, they have amazing, eclectic art on the walls. Just going and eating there is an experience. They obviously have great coffee, but while you’re there you have to try their fresh bagels. They’re the best around!
