September Market Update for the 90808 area of Long Beach, CA.
Real Estate Statistics for Lakewood Village, Old Lakewood City, the Plaza, Carson Park, South of Conant, and El Dorado Park Estates.
Closed sales for single family homes in the 90808 area dropped significantly from 59 in July to 37 in August. This, however, is still 2.3% higher than August of 2014.
Inventory levels have evened out over the summer months, with a 1.8 months supply level for the third month in a row.
Median sales prices for homes in the 90808 area have been on a general upward trend over the last few years, and this month followed suit. The median sales price in August came out to $575,000. That is $15,000 higher than July and 5.4% higher than August of 2014.
The median number of days on the market went up slightly in August, at 42 days, but this is still 17.6% better than August of last year.
